How do they convert from heel to flat?
Open the sole, pull the heel out, and cover it back over. It takes seconds and needs no tools — you can do it standing up.
Are they more comfortable as heels or as flats?
Both. The midsole changes shape between modes — flat and flexible in flat mode, stiff and supportive under the arch in heel mode. Cushioning runs throughout either way.
Will the mechanism shift while I'm wearing them?
No. The mechanism is made from hardened steel, bolted into the shoe, and locks firmly in place until you choose to fold it.
Can you feel the heel when it's tucked away?
Not at all. The inside is reinforced the way a well-made flat is, so the stored heel isn't noticeable underfoot.
What are the heel heights?
Heel mode is approximately 95mm / 3.7 inches. Flat mode is approximately 33mm / 1.3 inches.
Will the sole get scuffed?
It depends on the surface. The rubber is durable and most marks lift with a damp cloth. Faint marks develop with frequent wear.
